Touched By Stone was founded in 2016 by Pete Ryder to bring the art and craft of dry stone walling to life in New Hampshire. Pete operates a small team of specialized dry stone masons that implement one project at a time. 

We adhere to dry stone construction standards developed over centuries and maintained today by the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA). All of our wallers are certified with the DSWA. We maintain professional membership in both the DSWA and The Stone Trust in Dummerston VT.  Both of these organizations are excellent sources for information as you consider your project.

Peter is a certified instructor with the DSWA and The Stone Trust. We operate a satellite training site in Mont Vernon NH where Stone Trust courses are offered multiple times a year.
